Helping PagesJaunes Groupe draft its Document de Référence

PagesJaunes Groupe is a European leader in local advertising and information, with revenues of €1.1 billion in 2010 and 4,500 people in France, Spain, Luxembourg and Austria.

Before PagesJaunes Groupe began working with Imprima, it found it difficult and time-consuming to manage changes to its draft DDR. As the company's legal director, Alexandre de Tourtier, explains, "As we got towards the end of the process, we had to mark up the document by hand and email scans of it to our service provider, who had the master document. Even small edits could take several hours to turn around. This added to the stress of a crucial period.

It allows multiple users to work on a document, while always knowing they are using the latest version. It requires no software downloads and is cloud based, so it can be used on mobile devices, including the iPad. iDrafts works with all editors, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Open Office. For documents such as DDRs, it uses InDesign.

Clients also have enhanced control. Flexible permissions determine which users - inside or outside the organisation - can see and edit a document. Workflows are task-based, so co-ordinators can distribute actions to specific users. All activity is tracked and recorded, providing a complete audit trail of changes and the ability to go back to previous versions. And users can instantly generate blacklined or clean PDFs of their document.
