Allen & Overy case study

Client:

Allen & Overy is an international law firm with approximately 5,000 staff, including over 450 partners, working in 31 major centres worldwide. Imprima has developed strong working relationships with Allen & Overy globally working on projects in Debt and Equity, Capital Markets and M&A. Consequently, when iDrafts was launched as a solution to enhance the document drafting process, Allen & Overy were convinced of the potential benefits iDrafts could bring to its business.

iDrafts project:

Drafting of a 144A and Regulation S debt prospectus for the Société de Financement de l’Économie Française (SFEF), on behalf of the French Government. The document required instant alterations throughout the drafting process and had to be delivered to strict deadlines. Using Imprima iDrafts enabled Allen & Overy to maintain complete control of the drafting and proofing stages, saving time and money. Allen & Overy were able to create their own print ready PDF in iDrafts and save it within the secure iDrafts workspace. On completion of the drafting project, Imprima then project managed the printing and distribution of the documents.

Client benefits:

  • More control - being able to access the document directly to make amendments and create PDFs.
  • Saved time – Allen & Overy were able to make instant changes to the document throughout the drafting process
  • Increased security - Files downloaded from the secure iDrafts workspace as opposed to emailed. This also avoided potential  mailbox issues associated with large file sizes
  • Ease of use - The intuitive iDrafts system required minimal training
  • Improved document management - Allen & Overy can access and amend the document in the secure iDrafts workspace at any time in the future

What clients say Read more testimonials

"iDrafts brought us more control over the drafting process, allowing us to concentrate on the transaction specifics. Most importantly, at no stage in the drafting process did we lose ownership over the document editing, and we were able to make last minute changes ourselves."
